Will see what the others think... I know we have the 1.5 year anniversary jeans coming. But I think it would be easy to have a S&S fade contest start every Jan 1st. And you could always have a 2nd (or even a 3rd,4th) contest running simultaneously through out the year, featuring different weights/characteristics for more members to get involved in what they find interesting.

Even if we kept it simple and have a light weight (10-16oz) contest which would start on Jan 1st of each year and a Heavy weight (17+) start let's say July 4th. Just have a recurring contest. 1st annual lightweight, 2nd annual and so on and do the same for the Heavy. Pick a denim well in advance. We just need an attorney make some simple rules (Simple and Attorney = Oxymoron, sorry whiskeyriver

Talking about IH charging exorbitant prices, don't get me started on Attorney's! Or mechanics! ( ickes ) lol......it's funny because me and brother (business partner) always joke that we should start charging like attorneys do, as in consultation fees. I can't tell you how many phone calls we get and how many people stop by the shop just to pick our brains and then use the knowledge we shared with them to try and fix their own vehicles. I'm like dude, if we were doctors or lawyers we would be charging you for this....why can't mechanics do the same??

At the very least, it'll get them off the phone faster. Heh.

Cold washed and hang dried the Antiques last night, tried them on today and they're exactly where I want them. You guys ready to start this thing up on Friday?
edit: by the way, these dried super crispy, I'm looking forward to loosening them up and turning everything blue.

So what did we agree on for rules? - Post a beginning pic. - how about quarterly transition pics (End of March, June, Sept., final pic end of Dec.) - the Mods pic 3 Of the best looking Fades for the Community to vote on. - winner wins Bragging rights for a year

Thoughts? I'm thinking the first 3,4 (maybe even 5 or 6) months it'll be a bunch of pics all looking like no ones put any wear in them. Being on the lighter side (12oz) I'll be mostly wearing them around the house on the weekend.

The final result is what gets judged, right? Then it doesn't really matter if someone wants to post daily pics. At least monthly wouldn't be bad. Then you will have more to compare back to.

Can someone post up detailed pics of the AmSans? I may be in the minority in thinking the AmSans don't look all that special to commit a contest for.

I'd say lets make quarterly the minimum qualifying expectation, but people can post whenever they want otherwise.
