34 - 38 Straights in the store, ready to ship if anyone still wants in. Also a 32 slim. My weakness is strong. 34 Straights ordered from store. I am in for the contest as well.

So my 36 were very small in the rise and I really dont know how Im gonna like wearing them for A YEAR! So I wanted to get a 37 but there were none so I snagged the 38 slim from the stock. Im thinking of putting them into seriously hot water and then tumbling until almost dry and hope hope that they shrink alot.
If not....Im hoping there is an eminem-award!
After getting them and trying it I will know If i maybe have a 36 pre-shrunk for quick sale for anyone wanting in on the last minute! They are like....tighter then a 35 slim.

Well, my 38 slim sewed up like a 36 slim, so you may be perfect. I'll definitely be a Plant contender, even if my plant is more like a seedling.

Received mine. Came in under 37 straight spec, but it won't be an issue. Pre-soak measurements..... Waist 18.5 Thigh 12.5(2" down) Front rise 11.25 Back rise 14.75 Cuff 8.75 Inseam 36.25 Will post post-soak numbers Sunday Post-soak measurements..... Waist 17.75 Thigh 12.25(2" down) F rise 11 B rise 14.75 Cuff 8.4 Inseam 34.25 I gave them a quick fit check, and they are darn near perfect. The waist is comfortably snug. The thigh and leg have just the right amount of wiggle room. The rise is where I like it, no plumbers crack worries. The inseam is .25-.5 more than I would typically wear without a cuff. I will be stacking. Ready when you guys are ! Cold soak? Hot soak? Please advise. I need about the same shrink in the waist with minimal loss in the thigh and rise. Im going to get them hemmed local. No chainstitch but who cares. I can start whenever.

30 more days. Who's in and how you going to wear these (no cuff, rolled/single cuff)? How are you going to use them? Just want to size up the Raw competition here.

No cuff, daily wear, jumping in snow banks. You know, the usual. I might even throw them in the dryer once they've finished shrinking.

After work & weekend casual use mostly. Chinos-and-trousers office employee and homebody father of a two-year-old: underdog for sure, but I'll give it my damnedest.

Some of those sleeper pairs of jeans (weekend yard work, playing with the kids, washing them!) end up being very interesting. At least that's what I'm going for

Yeah, don't underestimate kid fades! Haha. I'm sending mine to Railcar for hemming and then just wearing the shit out of them. Can't believe Gustin responded to my email inquiry about the low rise problem by saying that the rise can be stretched by an inch when wet. I don't think that's possible.

That's a ridiculous response. Mine is super low and I'd send it back if it weren't for the contest. But saying an unsanforized pair will magically gain an inch of rise if you pull hard enough? Come on. That's just an admission that you're not willing to suck it up and take responsibility for a whole batch that sewed up under spec.

I'm genuinely interested in getting a good explanation on how denims can sew up so differently. I'd assume the same pattern is used and it's not like I see extra denim at the seams. I can only speculate that they were cut wrong...?

The cynic in me also wonders if they haven't downsized patterns just a leeeetle to eke out an extra pair or two per roll...

I'm in. Plan to probably do a combo of a single cuff/stacking as the initial soak left me with about 1/2" extra in length. I'll probably wear them 2-3x per week at the office and at least 1(maybe 2) weekend days.
Honestly, I'm trying to limit my rotation to 5 of my 16 just so I can work on some fades with other denims (like I'm actually seeing progress on the Italian BlackXBlacks...seriously).
