I initially preferred the pyramid, but the floral one has my eye now. No one will mistake you for a lumberjack, that's for sure.

lol... whiskeyriver I saw these drop last night and I immediately thought you would like them. I almost posted in the TS thread too saying .."is whiskeyriver insane for liking this shirt?"...lol....but I was in the midst of trying to look like a lumberjack with my IH buffalo check flurry and no bentin you won't look like a lumberjack in those shirts but you'll definitely look like a f...... nevermind |

i have the pyramid version and it's one of my favorites that i picked up this year. i like the look of the flowers and don't find them at all feminine looking, especially with the weight and texture of the fabric. then again...i'm just glad to see shirts that aren't some variation of gingham or plaid

i have the pyramid in the 3/4 length from 3Sixteen. it's a great broadcloth material - very nice.
the floral...it's kind of busy but it's not a bad pattern at all. i've got the flower print pop-over from 3Sixteen and wasn't sure i'd pull it off but it looks surprisingly good on (and the compliments always roll in) so i say give it a shot.

In their defense this looks like the coffee shop / roaster two doors down from Taylor Stitch, Four Barrel Coffee. I'm not sure if this is Mr. Four Barrel himself but TS probably didn't have to go too far out of there way for the photo. To answer your question whiskeyriver I don't think you're insane. It's a nice shirt, though I'd go for the pyramid out of the two. |

It's actually a little story. He wakes up or something, then realizes he has no coffee, so then he goes and roasts coffee, makes it, and enjoys it outside. I appreciate that they often tell little stories with their photo shoots. I guess we'd rather he be wringing his hands uncomfortably in clothes that don't fit? Get the shirt, you know you want to, and it looks great. Especially as a layering piece for the winter, or something like that. It'd be great as the second shirt in a DigDug layering experiment. |

I'm leaning pyramid, but part of me says cherry blossom cuz' moms grew up in Japan. EDIT: PS, I was born in San Fran, so that's why I like to make fun of it. Haha. |

I like both of these shirts and you 100% should order it and post pictures (for some to make fun of you and some to praise). I'm iffy on the California collar personally, but that's my idiosyncrocy.

A few months later and everyone is using this fabric but at about twice what TS charges. 3sixteen has the aforementioned 3/4 sleeve, N&F is using it and I'm pretty sure I saw at least one more. The floral looks a tad busy and I have something similar from Iron and Resin so I passed.
