Out of interest, Dirty_Denim, do you know what number was the last order on the old site? ie, how far you guys are away from starting on the new site orders. Also, roughly how many pairs would you say are being completed each week? Guessing my pairs won't land til the New Year now, and that's fine, but just wondered how far along things were.

Another winner is the Japan DOVA WINNING!!! Yeahh, ordered a jacket type II with this fabric, very excited !!! (btw, DD, order #11684 or 13097 on the old site, it should be made soon, right?) DD, just a question : why do i have 2 different order #'s for the same command?

Also, roughly how many pairs would you say are being completed each week? Guessing my pairs won't land til the New Year now, and that's fine, but just wondered how far along things were. The orders system is really all over the place because we will pull stuff to change measurements customers request. That order will put back out of order. SO if an order gets cut and someone asks for buttons or thread to be changed it loses its spot by how many orders were stacked on top of the original spot. Thats why you may see an order with a # like 11600 get made after a order# like 11635. Completed orders a week can also be different by how many items are in an order. SOme orders may have 5 and some may have 1. Some will have full custom and some will be quite simple. All that will make for a random completion rate. The more changes to orders the more time added. Our opening stance of do what you want caused a huge delay but that was our own doing and something we felt customers needed to dial in a few things. We can finish 25 jeans and 25 shirts or jackets a day. Total is around 50 items made a day, give or take a few here and there. Our best output was 45 jeans in a day . We recently purchased a new machine for shirts that will bump that a bit. That machine is specific to lighter finer fabrics. Hope this explains it a bit better. I too am dialing in my understanding of production so I am feeling very confident in what I now know

Both are of the same order. This is why we changed amongst other reasons. Our new site is an absolute godsend for our system

Dirty_Denim I placed an order a while ago. Wondering if I still had time to change the denim or if I'm late? #1180 Order was placed like two weeks ago.

I would suggest logging into your LD account and sending a message through there of your changes. It might get there the quickest and is what dirty had suggested for anyone wanting to make a change. Not saying he won't chime in here too.

Just made another change via the messaging system to my orders (button type change). This is the 2nd change I've made since placing the orders. Feel kind of bad about it, but think I'll ultimately like the shirts more in the end, and glad I have the option.

If you ordered on the "new" (current) website, just log in, select the order you want to change, and send them a message through that. If you're on the "old" site then you can email them, include your order number, and then try to follow that up with chat. That'd be my suggestion based on what I've seen here.

Best way to contact.
KS & OLD SITE is best to send to info@lawlessdenim.com but try to keep the emails separate as they get lost as you pile on questions. I would start a new email as you ask questions and they get handled. When you respond and respond and respond the emails get piled on and get lost in the mix. These orders are manually changed so it takes time to find the order especially if it is in production. Once in production it can be at one of many stations and possibly at more than 2. For instance your jeans could be split in 2 getting worked on while a shirt could be somewhere else. That old site and KS especially was not linked to our new site which is like comparing working on a computer compared to a type writer.
The new website is perfect and very easy to locate orders, change orders, answer questions as well as keep you guys notified of where the order is. This sytem will send you guys 3 or 4 updates as to where the order is in the process. Any new order like 100-upto the 1000's and eventually 2000's is best to message direct from your order it self

Dirty Denim, I just ordered:
1 x 12 oz. Candiani Herringbone Brown Weft Selvedge Men's Shirt (Shirt Style: Omaha, Fit: Regular, Size: Large, Thread Color: Copper, Button: Black Fish Eye, Cuff Closure: Two)
I was a little unsure of the button choice and thread color. Do you think this is a good match? Or would you recommend something else for this shirt?

I would also think our fish eye brown button would look great GREAT FABRIC FOR SURE.

Do you guys do a blue or navy fish eye button?

We do not have the blue done as of yet. I have to check but I think we have 3 differnt colors which white is def in there and the brown. The 3rd might be black or maybe even blue. Id have to confirm this though.
For now give me your order # and I will add the khaki with brown. That brown button looks amazing on the Indigo over Brown Herringbone

I had also put in a note with a request to go with a blue button is one was available. If you think the brown is a better choice than blue, feel free to delete that note. Thanks for the advice!
