I wear a Gustin 35 Slim. Ordered a Lawless 35 Slim Taper and asked to have the cuff opening adjusted to 15.5 (instead of the default 14.5). From what I can see via the fit guides, with the change to the cuff opening, the fit of the Gustin and Lawless should be very similar. On the Lawless site it mentions the Slim Taper is their version of a skinny jean. My Gustins don't fit like a skinny jean (thank god) and I don't think the Lawless will (based on the similarity in measurements). Any thoughts or comments while I can still make changes Dirty_Denim? |

Hi James, I whipped out a few of my own (non Lawless) jeans that are slimmer on me and they are all in lined with what a 36 taper would measure & fit like for me. Basically I found a few jeans that have similar measurements & tried them on to see how the feel in those areas. You are 1 sz below me so it looks like you are good to go |

Juilian - you have great taste! I ordered them on oct 3rd and they're now in production. I went with sliver hardware, same thread as you and different pocket liners. I'll let you and everyone know my thoughts once I receive them.

Really wanted to do something a bit different with both pairs I've now ordered from Lawless and I'm genuinely super-excited for these to come in and see how they've turned out. I have one more combination I'd like to see made up, but think I'll wait for these two before I go with that.

Thank you everyone for all your amazing support and questions. Many of you have brought a few things to our attention on the site that needed some fixing so thanks again. I am hoping to catch a breath after today and get back to speaking as a member & not as a LD employee. I need some time to talk shop with you guys so I will be in later for a bit. I am still available if you guys have any questions about product or anything for that matter.
I will be stepping out for an hour or so as I need a new computer and am leaving to go get it now.

I just ordered a XL italian herringbone trucker with copper thread and black-copper buttons.
Thoughts? I think that fabric would be great as a trucker but I wasnt sure on the thread and button color.

Putting together my Utility Coat at Lawless and I'm going with the IxI but having trouble on the thread and button options. I'm thinking of going tonal with it...using the dark navy thread and the black or black/copper buttons. Any suggestions fellas? Or damn...maybe I should use the IxI as a WS to make up for the IxI Gustin work shirt that fits like a night gown...hmmmm...

I like the idea of going tonal on it Ickes. either choice of the buttons will look good. Personally, my tastes, I think the flash of copper with the black/copper buttons would look great. just my thoughts. Killer choice, on the fabric and thread color though  |
