This guy has a few shots of his LD 17.5 oz Cones . Same guy in the photo of his jean encased on the LD wal with Roman. Looks like he wore them during some epic adventure around the US instagram.com/chaseadventure

I just ordered a type 3 in indigo/indigo. I'm really psyched. I blew my birthday cash on that sucker, and am confident, given the pics and report from Matt for instance, as well as the feedback I've had from the LD team, that it'll be well worth it. My friend was trying to get me to buy a pre-distressed skinny Levis trucker, and I just laughed. For half the price you can have a customized selvedge USA made piece of work by real craftsmen. It really put me off Levis. Sure they were the original, but they're no longer the real thing. IMO.

Really looking forward to the blackcopper buttons on the shirt, and went with Romans recomendation on brown thread to match the vintage look of the fabric.
Im a little unsure about the black snaps on the dark chambray, but Id like to try out snaps, and cant see that any other color would bebetter. White might pop too much since its gonna have white thread.
Also the camel checker micght be too bland with white thread and white buttons...but yeah, we will see. Dont want it too busy either since its checkered.
Thoughts?

Love the new site - nice work to everyone involved and it is much easier to use. Very professional looking too. Made my first [very basic] order, on the fence for a second, tempted to wait and see how well I do on the size.
15.2 oz. Cone Selvedge Men's Jean (Fit: Straight Leg, Waist: 34, Inseam (inches): 31, Hardware: Black & Copper, Thread Color: Copper, Denim Tag: LD& CO. , Jeans Fly: Button Fly, Pocket Liner: Red Canvas, Chain-Stitch Hem: Single Chain-Stitch Hem)
I'm very excited about the Red Canvas pockets and the back & copper hardware. I wish the old "gunslinger" tag was an option, though...
If I do a second order it will be 14.5 oz. Kuroki Mills Black Selvedge 2x1 Twill Men's Jeans with the B&W canvas pockets, probably the same on everything else except the tag where I'd go with the Koi.

Griffin - how did you order the herringbone shirt? Basically I wanted it from the start but was told to wait until the new site was coming. In the meantime the fabric got empty! So Roman said he would try and get me some but it will take a long time. I just need it so i said to just let the order stand.

julian; nice choice my friend. I am convinced that the fabric you have ordered is the Gustin Black 2 fabric, almost 99% certain it is.

Would be cool if it is the same fabric, but it looks good either way. I mainly just pleased to be able to have not only contrast stitching but matching contrasting buttons/hardware also. Should look grand.

Julian - I kind of copied yours in that I had a different thread but changed it to copper. I went with black/copper hardware where I think you went with copper.

Nice Ickes - I can't do the shirt right now. Waiting for some unique fabric to show up but I think the shirt you put together will be very nice. Now you'll have a Canadian tux!
