I would go with plain pockets not selvedge showing. Everything else is awesome.
Now only if Ciano would let me know how my gf's jeans are coming. It's been since May or June.

Well I soaked mine and they appeared to lose 2 inches in the waist, half inch in the the cuff, and about 1/3" in the rise. We will see how they do when totally dry. Excited to wear these.

Did you cold soak them? Yes. Wearing them today and the waist has stretched back out around an inch quickly. They were like cardboard for the first hour and now they're softening up nicely. Edit: Anyone having issues with the button holes? I've got two that are fraying rather quickly. I think the penny buttons put a bit more stress on the holes than typical buttons. On a related note, has anyone ever fixed a button hole?

I told Ciano my sanforized flat waist measure was 40" with 35" inseam and this is what he came up with. In essence, it was his 901 38 cut with unsanforized compensation. I also asked for a little tighter bottom openings. I'll post pre and post measurements when I have them. Amazing craftsmanship. I will definitely be ordering more items from Ciano.

Well my pair was supposed to arrive today but no luck. According to the rocket surgeons at USPS it was last seen in N Houston on 1/16. Fingers crossed that my jeans show up next week. The real pisser is that I only live about six hours from Houston.

Mine showed up today, too, and they're pretty fantastic! Bottom buttonhole stitching couldn't handle the denim, so I'll try to reinforce it, but otherwise close to perfect. Love the runoff stitching on the cuffs.

How long is everybody soaking their denims? I did a half hour cold soak last night. After wearing them for several hours, shrinkage is 1" in the waist and 2" in the inseam. Also, just finished an hour long hot soak on the cuffs to tighten them up a little more.
