Just curious if anyone has any pairs of 555. Looking at the sizing it seems like the 555 in a 33 or 34 would work better for me than the 666. Kind of concerned that I couldn't find any 555s on Rakuten after a few minutes of looking.

I have a pair... Wearing them RIGHT NOW.
I had to size 1 up from my correct waist size so I could fit my thighs, but I still love them 100%. Overall, my favorite fitting pair of jeans, and considering they will last so long, I'm totally cool with the price.
Maybe you could get a pair of 666 and send them to RFG?
I'm seriously thinking to do that with my 666XHS

I had the samples before they were released and those were super tight. . Let me see if i can find my pics to show u the fit. At this point i would size up but then again i have thick thighs and hips |

I grabbed them off the rack for $250 at Nordstrom . They are rough out and have been pre distressed. Damn near perfect IMO |

not sure how i've been sleeping on this post but i'm glad i found it as this is the exact fit i want from IH. between this and the 301S at SE, i may finally become an IH fan. i grabbed the 02 - it matches up nearly spec for spec with my favorite fit, the Mustang from Ande Whall.
i hope that they continue to give some love to the 555 moving forward.

Sal. that denim pea coat. drooool. It was amazing but i bought it on ebay without asking for the sleeve length. I swear it was a 3/4 sleeve lol. I ended up using it for its indigo dyed linen lining for my patching . BTW, I did not own those awesome The Strongholds jeans at the very top. I only wish I could find em |

got a pair of these today. never thought IH would have gone this modern but i dig 'em a lot!
they're similar to the SE 301S cut but with a mid-rise vs. the low of the 301S. seem like the exact same taper from the top block.
