Man the quick fades I forgot about those...just like I forgot about the japan shine....anyone who bought the japan shine should hang their head in shame I am. However, I wanted a "cheap" pair of classic indigo from Cone that was lightweight, plus, it's my first time sizing down. Figured these would be at least different than the American Standard/1968. So gave it a shot. Met my criteria of cheap, classic dark indigo, and light. I'm expecting maybe only a little quicker fading than the usual cone slow fades, but, who knows. |

Downtown brown has arrived, really liking the color, and can't find anything wrong with the pair that showed up.
Also, the Hunter Oxford showed up earlier in the week, pretty similar to the wine Oxford but the fabric seems to feel a little bit softer (just an observation not a complaint). Say, has anyone successfully put a tie through one of these oxfords? The space doesn't seem wide enough around back (above the button) to run a tie through, and I feel it'd be impossible to button that thing once the shirt and tie are on you. Skinny ties only?

actually, that plays into one of two scenarios...
1. simple hoarding
2. collector's edition, gotta keep 'em mint cuz they're gonna go up in value!

I finally emailed to ask for an update on the Italy IndigoxIndigo. It's been 2 full weeks since "shipping began" on these, and I'm impatient. Maybe they'll update their status on them.

In my experience, they ship about 24-48 hours after I get frustrated and wonder what the hell is going on. I don't have to email them for this service, which tells me that I just need to calm the hell down. |
