Man, the closing tunes of that album...Sister Morphine, Dead Flowers, and one of my all time favorite songs, Moonlight Mile. Helluva album, there. for me it was always the first six tracks. i don't even remember the last time i listened to the others, they just never got to me like they obviously have for you. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the tunes on there. But those closing tracks are tops for me. I love all (well 1978 and prior) Stones, but I love the Stones most when they depart from their Stones formula. Those get to me the most because they feel the most personal. That said, I love every bit of Exile and Sticky for personal/nostalgic reasons. Cool hear the insight, @stevekas.  |
