So I go to my mailbox today and there's a package from Gustin in there. I'm thinking ...this is weird..I haven't ordered anything in ages..nothing is due to come to me. So I open it up and it's a gift. Hand written note from Ren and a free T shirt. It's a nice oatmeal/off white/cream colored organic cotton T shirt. This was a really cool gesture that I wanted to share. Very classy on Gustins part . By the way...I am really damn impressed by the T. The fabric feels great and I was very pleasantly surprised by the fit. They sent me an XL and the chest, arms, and shoulders fit great but it's a touch too long and pretty boxy in the torso but I think a Large might be perfect. I'm going to actually pick up a three pack now with my store credit. Very pleasantly surprised by their Ts

Gustin t-shirts are really good value. My go to basic. Waiting on a couple of heavyweights (9oz & 10oz) as well; as my only complaint for the standard $13 ones are that they're perhaps not as heavy as they could be.
But yeah, that's a class move.

My only gripe with the t shirts is the neck tag. Maybe I have a sensitive neck but they bug the crap out of me. Don't get me wrong it is easy to snip off but still I wonder why they must put a tag on the back when most other brands have moved to screen printing logos there.

Would prefer them to be an inch or so longer but can't complain! I used to buy Real McCoys 2-packs for $70 dollars through Rakuten; quality is on par with Gustin (standard 5oz).

They are a bit boxy but it's hard for me to find a T shirt these days that fits me in in the shoulders, arms, and chest that isn't boxy in my midsection. So a boxy T doesn't really bother me. I'm curios what the weight is of the T shirt they sent me. It's not exactly thin..

Think I figured it out...I think the one they sent me is the Vanilla organic cotton tee (5oz) that's up in the store right now in the variety three pack #13. The organic cotton feels really nice I must say.

Think I'm going to cop the Variety Pack #1 (black, white, heather grey). I'd like to cop some of the heavier weight ones that bruns is talking about too.

More buttery than inorganic cotton? More buttery AND more gauze like all at the same time. It's crazy I tell ya.

Is it like being wrapped in organic gauze? Do you feel like a stylish burn victim?

What kind of shrinkage is everybody getting on these T's? I've had zero with cold wash and hang dry on all four tees I've purchased. Edit: that said my Heather Grey tee fits smaller and differently than my black tee. But it always has. I think the black tees were sewn up wrong as they were a stock store order

They sent me a heather grey logo t, also in an XL. I think the general idea they're giving me is that it's a good idea to size up one. Since the thing fits like a mini-dress (looooong) I'm gonna have to give it a warm wash, prolly warm dry, I'll let you know what happens.

I'm probably going to do the same with mine as it is long and a bit billowy in the midsection as well..but fits damn good up top.

It's interesting to see people talk about the length. How tall are you guys? I'm 5'8 and my heather mediums fit me perfectly in length. My black tees are a tiny bit long, but not bad, and they're speced more like a large anyway in thr chest etc.
I would suspect that if you're not taller, but need a larger size, you'll run into length issues.

The XL tee (out of the bag) is a little bit too big in most respects (to be worn as an undershirt), as I can wear it over another shirt, hence the warm wash and dry. I'm a little shy of 5'11 and weigh about 18 more pounds than I should.

I'm 6 feet and the XL is just a bit too long...not terrible...I could still wear it....and I think the width in the waist might make it feel or appear longer too.

I just wear them with a pair of denim or some shorts (since its 100 degrees with a million percent humidity here right now)

What kind of shrinkage is everybody getting on these T's? I haven't had any shrinkage in mine and they have been washed a lot in warm and cold washes and dried on low in dry. I hot washed and low dried a couple of my white ones with no noticeable shrinkage as well. I'm 6'2" 185# and wear a large t shirt
