Any of you guys manly enough to own and use one of these?
I just picked one up to use at a new job during some of the messier work. I'll post up some original/fade pics once it comes in.
I think it will be a lot nicer than the green apron I wore at *$ for a few years....

Should look good with some sawdust beat into it.

What do you use these for? I'll be wearing mine in a distillery once I start in a month or so

I have one made of Greenline fabric; I love it but never really use it as I only cook about once a month. Probably time to recommission it as an extreme hipster layering piece ;-)

Absolutely! Big fan of younger whiskeys and especially (non-MGP) ryes. Love some Anchor Old Potrero.
Been on a Japanese Scotch tear recently to match my denim, but always keep a few American whiskeys around.

Woukd happily trade a G apron for a sample bottle. I drink just about anything too, gin, sambuca, absinthe, tequila, campari and especially whisk(e)y.

If you haven't been, it's a great trip.

Here it is! I'm a little disappointed, I wanted a chunkier fabric but it's growing on me already. I do really wish it had the veg patch, but I'll live. I think it's the Italian BlueID based on ID, feel and apparent weight. A few pics below, with fairly accurate color rep. looks great! I've been mulling over getting an indigo, but I don't want it to crock all over everything I wear. A brown or ox2 apron would be sick.

I totally agree on color options! I'd buy them.
I was worried about crocking too, so I emailed and begged for anything other than IxI. This will mostly be over dirty T-shirts and chambrays so I'm not too concerned

If it's Italian, there will be no crocking.

If it's Italian, there will be no crocking. you're more likely to crock all over it.

This will mostly be over dirty T-shirts and chambrays so I'm not too concerned i'd be more concerned with outward crocking (onto whatever project, surface, food...etc i was leaning against...especially if liquids are involved). however...if i were to get an indigo apron i'd not be concerned with epic fadez and would just wash until crocking was no longer a concern.

Love the shiny new avatar. I wanna beat up a pair of shiny pants cause I think it'd be spectacularly weird. The copper twist are the better bet because I've gained about 10 pounds and the cotton/poly blend of the Japan Shine doesn't like to give up in the waist.

Well, I'll be grilling tonight so I'll report back on how indigo burgers taste.
