Anyone else have the indigo ticking stripe utility shirt? Fits the bill in terms of weight and construction but I'm a bit worried by the measurements- 27.5 inches for the length of a Medium seems tiny! I've got one. Nice. Shirt, haven't worn it for awhile (been to hot). The pockets are not aligned (we're assuming on purpose). I brought mine to a local tailor, quick fix,$12) there was an out line where they were, but that went away with a wash. There's pics some where around. Also, I just noticed a small fringe tear when it came out of the wash. Not from the construction but on the fabric. I don't recall catching it on anything. So not sure how it'll hold up long term. It's ok win me, that Wabisabi thing. It's a nice shirt with some subtle vintage inspiration. Took the plunge. Was exactly what I was looking for style wise (do like a work wear look), fingers crossed the fit is decent as well.

really considering grabbing one of these swift mills utility shirts from the last call section, but, me being a bigger dude, the 46 in taylor stitch has always been just a touch too small. did i read somewhere that these were running a bit big or is that just wishful thinking?

Wow that's a good price! Are Last Call items eligible for the 20% discount? If that's the case, you practically have to get one out of principle.

I have been pondering the same but what has stopped me is my previous experience with the rail car denim which sewed up just a tad small and TS 46 have me right on the bubble especially in the arm department. So I don't want to buy a denim shirt which will probably shrink, with the arms right on the bubble. That being said, the Mechanics shirts work well for me and have not shrunk, and the Jacks probably fit the best of all.

And FYI, I got one of these and it ran slightly bigger in the chest and slightly longer in the tail. www.taylorstitch.com/collections/mens-last-call/products/the-jack-in-sand-work-oxford

I was planning to wait for Ciano's, but it's hard to tell what's going on so I may have to jump on this one.

I'm usually okay in the chest and arms with TS stuff, but I have a bit of a gut. I can always button them, but they end up pulling a bit. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and then suck it up and lose a couple lbs.

It does pull a little in the waist unless your pretty gutless lol. If ya can live without buttoning the last one, it should work ok. I have worn mine a lot in the last year and the more I wear it. I realize it's just not the fit for me. To me its a really trim fit, I'm in between an athletic and stocky build. The 42 is kinda tight so I thinks mine sewed up a little smaller than spec or I should have really gotten a 44 and tried to shrink it a little.
It didn't really change much when I cold soaked the first or any other time so I'm sure it won't shrink on ya.

I've never bought anything from Gustin before, but I've been keeping my eyes open for a workshirt that I like. So far no dice. I plan to jump as soon as something good shows up though!
