IH-634S-PD - Indigo 18oz Money Denim Straight Cut - "Yenim" - the warp is made from Japanese currency pulp, so an obvious nickname! - This highly experimental denim utilizes the warp from our 18oz denim and uses a weft made from paper currency pulp, which is half the diameter of a cotton yarn, but twice as strong - We are delighted with the end result which is a denim that feels like 14oz but is stronger than 18oz, however it was a lot more difficult to weave successfully than anticipated so we don’t plan to make this denim/”yenim” again - Because the currency pulp weft is so thin there is not a lot of weft see-through on the face, resulting in a very dark indigo denim Sizes 29-34, 36, 38 & 40 USD450 Ok these look interesting. But what is the appeal. Do the feel like a lower weight

Three new fabrics available at Left Field (two greaser fits and one charles Atlas). They look like good deals. considering the 16.5oz Xinjiang Good lord I don't need another pair of denim but I'd like to pre order one of those. Wonder if they stretch like cone...to size down?

That slub is just too intense. Overkill. Gives me a headache. The super heavy slub is not the same as Big Slubbers. Big Slubbers is a pretty fantastic denim that isn't fresh out of Abercrombie. Anyway, I still can't wear the Cone Pima Fires without the feeling I'm going clubbing. I'm probably in on those khaki selvedge chinos, though. I kinda want in on the chinos as well but the pair I have suffer from buttons which fall off as has been documented. I've washed them twice and they also look like crap now as well.

did you size down? My collect 180z greasers, stretched a bit more then i thought they would and i know the cone does as a general rule...otherwise enjoy them and let us know how theya re working How do you like the 18 oz LF NYCs? I'm maybe kinda sorta thinking about them, but I want to try them on first. Probably won't get a chance until next week at the earliest. Love the fabric...it's got insane character. Nothing like I've ever had before....wish the rise was a drop longer and the thighs a bit narrower but if you are looking for something with real texture this is your pair.

I went with the 13oz Cone. Ive been wanting a pair of Cone I can wear year round, something simple and easy. I would have preferred the 14oz cone slub but they didn't have my size. did you size down? Hi all just did a cold soak to my IH and after a hang dry they developed these vertical fold lines on both legs. Will it go away with wear ? Worth hitting it with a quick iron I vaguely remember having Levi's develop this sometimes and they never went away... i.imgur.com/1juCozn.jpgi.imgur.com/yLVkZB8.jpg

Ok, so I'm still debating about getting my brave star tapered, or I can sell both of my slim straights if anyone is interested. I worn one at least 3 times. The other pair I haven't put or tried on. Both are a size 36. I learned that I prefer slim tapered over straights [br See above and shoot me a pm. I could be interested depending on how yours sewed up

Come on!! At least some electrical tape over it, please. Easy solution I learned from staring at obtrusive blue lights on stereo equip. Get some two dollar blue tak. Stick it on. If you don't like it it comes right off

that's a great looking shirt. i've been really interested in their slim kojimas, but just haven't pulled the trigger. I cant recomend them enough. Heritage luxury at its finest. The cut of their standard fit jeans are the nicest form fitting pair I own. Worst case you can return (please check on this) if you aren't enamored with em hows the rise? Short?

Are you talking about ratio, or something else? Yes. Ratio. Agree on the value per price thing.... OTHO- the black moc boots actually look good..not sure if the price os a good one..but i usually dislike the moc toe and those looks pretty good

actually....they looked exactly like they do on the website...i thought they would be some deviation as its hard to get a handle on the color from any on my monitors, but its literally what you see it what you get....certainly a change of pace for most of us....interesting you say they may have sown up big. As when i returned them, i inquired about this b/c i ordered the same size a year back in my straights and those a perfect...same size in the spectre (in slim no less) much bigger....
i think they said end of January for restock in the spetre.
so anyone have any info/intel on the 210z....crispy, heavy....soft tough...iron heart like...

Anyone tried their 21oz version. I had to exchange my specter selvedge pair and the next smaller size is sold out
So with credit for a new pair and borderline discipline to wait for a restock in the specter ...

Sounds quite similar to the weather I deal with, here in Wisconsin. My current go-to pair, September through May, are my 19oz IH. The only reason I don't wear them 12 months a year is heat. I have a couple of pairs of 14oz for summer. But, I find no difference in comfort, and wearability, outside of weather factors. I certainly don't like wearing the lighter stuff when November rolls around. I love my heavies...It always feels like you're really wearing something... If there's no difference in comfort then I guess heavyweight denim is an option. I agree with this. Take it from Jose of us who have done this dance and spent the hard earned dough and time finding out what works There are plenty of domestic options which have a longer rise and have Japanese denim options if you want to go that way No matter how good you measure there is no substitute for trying on Genthtee to a rock and Morter store and bite the bullet full price on your first pair to try on Alternatively you can try something from left field or bravestar or self edge where exchange won't be a difficult issue

I need about a 12 front rise on a 36. With back rise of at least 15 take a look at the 634 and 1955 cuts. the 633 cut even have you covered (no pun intended) but it's a SelfEdge exclusive cut. Thanks for the advice. I had a pair of 634's and till this day, my favorite denim. Unfortunately, rear rise would not work....sucks having to pull them up everytime you stand LOL. The 55 looks interesting..maybe that plus a railcar taper would work...expensive...but may be worth it

IH666S-19oz-Left Hand Twill-dark beige weft fuzzy goodness. This fabric is a bit hard to describe. It's comfortable, almost soft yet rugged, stiff, tough, and drapes well at the same time. I can't figure out how IH does this with their denim fabrics. Visually there isn't a whole lot of texture but his fabric has tons of texture and character you can feel when you rub your hands over it. Rough to the touch yet comfortable and soft. Very nice super dark Indigo color and lined back pockets which is always a very nice touch. This fabric is Raw which IH describes as unsanforised but one-washed so there wont be anymore shrinkage. Very happy with these so far. They fit great too. A nice slim-straight fit with not much taper. Classic look. Only slight issue I have is the rise is at the limit for how low I will go. It's a very flattering fit on thse rear but man I could not go any lower. Now check out my amazing potato cam pics. EDIT: Forgot to clarify this is version 2 of this fabric. Looks great....to bad IH doesnt make anything with a longer rise...
