Just got the indigo crosshatch WS in. I love the fabric! My fears were confirmed about the contrast stitching though. This would have been perfect with tonal stitching (and a pocket flap). Still, I'm considering keeping it. Didn't someone go over the stitching on one of their work shirts with a pen? I'm considering doing that. What do y'all think? Return or modify?

I wouldn't say I moved on from Gustin but I'm really only interested in a few things from them now. When something really interesting hits (like the Japan 21s or indigo jacquard work shirt) I'll still jump even if I don't really need it. But since I can only wear jeans 3 times per week, my Zimbabwe 15s, Japan 21s and downtown Browns will last me years. I still love their chinos and would grab more if they came out with fabrics I want (like wool, why haven't they done this??) but Taylor Stitch Telegraphs fit that spot. I have a few oxfords from G which are ok but I'm over button down collars so again, going to TS for their Hyde and California shirts. I will still buy heavy indigo t shirts and natural high tops if they come back and maybe socks if they get better styles.

I just received the Work Oxford. The material is simply gorgeous. Oxford cloth with a black underlying weave instead of white gives the shirt significant depth. Pretty beefy for an oxford shirt. Great fit for me as always. Bummed I didn't pull the trigger on this one. I had to sell my gustin charcoal Oxford and should have replaced it with this.

Did anyone here get these? I love the gray/green caste on my Zimbabwe 15s and the Viridan has a ton more. Seems like they would fade interestingly. Post fade pics of you have them!

Yeah, I always thought the heavier the fabric the more shrink but these were 10 oz. they are now my painting jeans.

Will hot soaking sanforized denim yield some shrink? I want to hot soak the top block of my N&F jeans to get them to shrink a little more. Since i lost weight my LHT's are loose in the waist which is annoying. Don't wear them much because of this It most definitely will. Less so than unsanforized but still significantly. My wife washed a pair of N&F in warm water and hang dried them and they shrank a couple inches in length and 1 in the waist

Same thing here, heavy Americans bled all over my hawthorn Iron Rangers. It doesn't look that bad but I was definitely bummed.

The crosshatch jacquard and khaki stripe are in sewing now, I'm hoping for an early January delivery with the holidays. they did offer a couple others before those, but I'm guessing it's a scheduling issue with the shop, as opposed to them giving up on the design, which has been hypothesized here. They could also be waiting on new samples as part of their production run for a 2016 update to the work shirt, though this is a pretty pie-in-the-sky theory. Add 1 flap, smaller collar, better buttons, done.

I received this in the mail today. The stripes are very narrow and it looks really good sewn up. It took awhile to fund and I think if they had a sewn up pic it would have sold through quicker. www.weargustin.com/store/2517I was just looking at this in the stock store and regretting not getting it. It looks a lot like some sugar cane fabrics I've been considering lately.

500, wow. These are the toughest faders I have ever had. I got mine in March, have worn them about 3 times per week and am just now getting barely visible honeycombs, and whiskers. The only places that have really faded are the seams of the pockets from sitting on my ass so much. I have dubbed these student fades.

The texture looks pretty amazing. It's a bummer that they shorten the length on these though, makes the 42 too short and the 44 is just too big. I need to work on my chesticles.

Just the fabric for me. I think the work shirt design is spot on and timing doesn't bother me at a good price. If this were in indigo canvas or brown denim I'd be on board.

Kakishibu project #2 Lawless Denim 12oz tanXTan workshirt with tiger eye snaps Still drying... So far, the coloring is very uneven, and I love it Awesome! It's funny, as I was looking at your pictures of the jacket I was thinking to myself that I need to do this to my Lawless work shirt. I'm pretty sure it's the same one but mine has copper buttons instead of tiger eye snaps.

Agreed. Their chinos are great. It sounds crazy but I almost regretted getting my Rogue Territory ISC officer chinos when I saw Gustin got ISC. Almost.

Anyone have any opinions or fit pics on the sanded canvas mechanics shirt? I have no idea how "sanded canvas" will feel. I've been eyeing that Moss for sometime and am itching to pull the trigger on it with the 20% off sale code. Thanks! I concur with the previous comments. I have the Black, Moss, and Navy sanded Mechanics shirts and they are great shirts. They are TS classics IMO, probably a shirt that I would recommend anyone should have in their closet. DigDug described the fabric well, it's not too heavy...not too light...not uncomfortable. Go for it, they are great shirts and the Moss is a great color. I didn't know there was a navy! Man, I'm regretting not grabbing these when they were in the workshop with the 20% discount. I got a couple shirts from the hill-side on cyber Monday but if they don't work out I'll definitely get these instead. I would also love to see one in indigo.
