You can just ask them to not put the ID tag on the bag.. They are very good with honoring requests.

Here is what a day out in the sun did to the grey Kangaroo service boots.. The boots look a little darker than they are as the picture is in the shade. And this is how they started their life. A reddit user (/u/dopke) had the same boots for 10 months and the change in color is amazing. Link to his update if you want to check it out. One in sunlight.

Also, that thread tends to share my dislike for chukkas! Reddit is a bit too intense and claustrophobic for me, so I don't venture there that often...which I why I prefer something smaller like this forum (but this pond does continue to dry up). It seems that everyone here loves the chukkas and I was starting to think there was something wrong with me...but now I know, I am not special. There are others out there! Hooray! I will not wear: Chukkas Chelseas Moc Toe Boots Hiking Boots (though those FEIT wool lined hikers are fun) As the days go by I get closer to disliking brouge'd boots as I am leaning towards they belong on shoes which is warming me up to LWB. Speaking of LWB, this Buday shell SWB has been haunting me: www.styleforum.net/content/type/61/id/1949559/Mostly agree with your list of dislikes, but i will have one pair of Chelsea boots for when I am in a hurry or for when I need to take my footwear on and off in a short time.

Those look awesome Mowgli Did you get them direct from Viberg? Nope.. these were from the sample sale last year.. just started breaking them in . More initial pictures here. There is a discolaration of the leather on the inside of the left boot. However that doesn't bother me at all. Initial impressions post on reddit with more pictures.

Awesome looking boots. Love the roughout leather Thanks.. When I first got these, I wanted to darken them a little, so made the mistake of using VSC on these.. that completely flattened out the texture. However a few months in just using scotch brite brought back the nap and the color of these boots.

The same boots as above. Just cleaned them using a scotch brite very gently to bring out the nap. Like these better now..

They look great. Out of curiosity, what are you doing that they require conditioning 3-4 times a year? I have been wearing these boots 3-4 times a week on average. Calling what I do conditioning might be a stretch as I really only use very small amounts of product at a time. Also of the two, the horse oil is what I would consider a proper conditioner. The VSC I use mostly for the gloss it gives the boots. Here is the horse oil I use. This is really light and easily absorbed into the leather. Horse Oil leather treatment

Amaretto Horse Hide evolution in 10 months. When i first received them at the beginning of the year. After an application of VSC after a week of wear. As they sit now.. After an application of VSC. I usually alternate between VSC and horse oil every 3-4 months.
