Seems like my order in the 1800s is never turning up, ever. Ordered in dec. 3 months or so is ok for custom stuff but this is ridiculous.

My order, in the 1800:s, is now on the cutting table according to email response today. I ordered one shirt, one jacket and one pair of jeans.

Looks a little overdone, might be a problem later transferring to everything around it. I like nikwax spray on wax for carefree application. But it doesn't get as nicely uneven...

Have an order in the 1800:s #, 19th dec. Awaiting fulfillment. In my experience, custom clothing takes 2-months unless it is an express order. So, still happy. If the maker is going to last, long-term, financially, it's 2-3 months at least. If nothing gets sent in a month, I'll send them an email.

If a custom clothing item shows up within a year it is not late. Ask any man who uses a tailor.

Looking at the city coat from Gustin, and not really digging the format (it's a crossover, IMO not in a good way, between a suit jacket (sports coat, odd jacket etc) and a denim jacket, I was wondering if someone had done a more original version jacket in denim. Savile Row tailor Richard Anderson, for example, had: Could Lawless do this? I'm not thinking a canvassed version, like this one, but rather a very basic version without canvassing. Notch lapel, single button, would prefer patch pockets (the usual number on a suit jacket, 3, NO double breast pockets, no flaps). Perhaps very thin pads in the shoulders, but I'm thinking not. Lapels in the width pictured above, not too skinny. Rather err on the side of wide. Would make an interesting alternative to a blazer or tweed jacket, and could be used with dress shirts. Also, add a pair of chinos in the same fabric and voila, a denim suit.

Dirty_Denim , you know I love you guys, but the web site could use some attention Its funny you say that. I was in the site fixing an issue we were having with gift certificates and saw a cool theme for the store. It had larger photo options which would make for a clearer look at the fabric. I told Roman about the site needing better photo's. We are working on getting more completed pieces up as well but have to time that right of course. I AGREE WE NEED A BETTER WEB EXPERIENCE I think it works good, actually, I only had some minor issues after I'd switched to standard view on my iPad. Some buttons were invisible when completing an order, like the select shipping option button. Had to click around the text a bit til I could complete my order... Would love that Horween leather jacket... If I can nail my fit perhaps I'll splash for it
