Just shipped off a second pair of Gustin's to get tapered and hemmed at Railcar, 1st pair came out great so I have high hopes. I'm getting it done on the Hemp's and when I get them back I'm going to coat them with Sumi ink (inspiration: tateandyoko.com/news/focus-sumi-ink-selvedge/ ) Just curious. What type of measurements did you give for tapering..and did you go above or below the knee. .I have a gustin or two I'm debating a tapering with but never tapered any Jean. Started at the thigh b/c it's my biggest issue with all of my slim G's. Knee and leg opening only changed 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch respectively but my BxB changed more than that because they came in bigger. So overall its going to be specific to each pair. Edit: 11 inch thigh (at crotch) 8 inch knee 7 inch leg opening

The Cone jacquard looks like an optical illusion but I wants it! Yeah I backed, especially at that price point and weight. First time in a long time, it better come in on spec/time.

I never have understood the logistics of the G shipping system. Not being able to combine items has kept me away from all leather goods. $20 simple wallet and pay 1/4th the price to ship. No way. Combine shipping with a pair of jeans and a wallet and no brainer I would have picked up one. Yup, and they've been assholes every time I've asked about it.

Yeah I really want to test it out and it's pretty much the only way I'm going to get any wear on the Hemp's. I'll make sure to document as much as possible.

Definitely the Azure. They looked nothing like their swatch and then I got them in a grab bag again after I had sold the first pair and had to sell them again...

The black looks great but I really wish G would find some black in a heavier weight. Max has been what, 14.5?

Cone Workshirt/Double Blacks/AE solid flannel underneath. Is that a Karas Customs Retrakt in the pen pocket? I backed and received the copper one. The Cone 101 looks nice but the buttons are absolutely tiny compared to the AE flannel. Haha, I never noticed that about the buttons but you're totally right, I do hate the buttons G is using for the workshirts. And, yeah it is a Retrakt, i got mine from Huckberry.com I love this pen but I had to use a little clear nail polish on the threads of the top portion because it was unscrewing by itself in my pocket. What ink do you use?

I really think the only time shipping them out matters is when you start getting into heavyweight. My local tailor did ok with 19oz E3s but did a horrifyingly bad job with 21oz their machines just cannot handle it. Normal Gustin weight should be no problem though.

Selling: Sold * Strike Gold 1105 Sold * Gustin Hemp Worn ~dozen times One Hot machine soak Some fading Waist: 33 Thigh: 12 Rise: 10 Inseam: 34.5 Hem: 7.25 $110 imgur.com/a/LcUaSI want to pick up a Nexus 6 and the wife said I had to liquidate some of the collection to justify it. I really would like to keep the Hemps but I need to have them tapered to warrant that and with DWC starting I think it's time to pare down.

Japan Double Black. Had them tapered at Railcar and they are easily one of my favorite pairs now.

Do you have a phone for each front pocket, or is the fade from something else? I see you like your button up shirt on the shorter side like I do. What is it IH? The shirt is American Eagle. And my phone is in the left pocket and the right is actually a pen on the far left side and change in the bottom of the pocket, the rest of the outline is just the pocket bag. You can see a little of the change pocket at the top too.

Nice. I have been impressed with many of the fade pictures from both the E3 and E4. I am self-banning myself to buy any more jeans for awhile but E4 is so tempting. Yeah I'm on a self proscribed cop-freeze until I decide for sure on my DWC contest pair. I've been craving the E4 but I got my friend to pick them up so I've started enjoying them vicariously.

Tate + Yoko has $75 Mystery Denim and $75 Mystery shirts up for N&F for Boxing Day. I am going for the Slim guys because there is only 3 options you can get in a 34 or a 36 waist. THe Elephant 3 and Okayama Spirts are one of those. The only pair I wouldnt want that is part of those 3 is the Brown chino's shop.tateandyoko.com/collections/saleBe careful with the T&Y grab bag, last one they did has tons of denim that wasn't on the site anymore. I got the Scratch and Sniff Raspberry that time around.

Do you really have to ask who? The people funding these four offerings is who. Almost all of them is finished funding for round one. Gustin is about providing products that the Gustin team likes, and what the Gustin fan base, from SF and Reddit wants. They're doing just that. It's $13 and made in America. The bulk of the tee market is sewn overseas and imported here. I honestly don't care that much where they make t-shirts, but that would add to the cost wouldn't it? I'm not a big t-shirt connoisseur, so I don't know what made in America t-shirts go for, but it can't be much less than $13 yes, I have to ask who because it's a T-SHIRT, something to which you seem to be missing the point. It's not woven out of unicorn fur or sasquatch's ball-hair, so the very idea of paying $13 for a blank shirt and waiting 2 months for it is mind boggling. my opinion/question doesn't matter though, as I was just posing the question like a lot of other people. I work in the garment industry and can tell you that US made organic blanks sell for less than half the cost at wholesale than what Gustin is charging. $13 is closer to retail price for most blank companies, not wholesale. So Gustin funders are actually paying retail on their tees rather than wholesale, which is what Gustin's business model is supposed to be. This is very true. You can get American Apparel here www.ppsapparel.com/ for way less.
