I wear tan with suits all of the time and they also look good with chinos. I bought the monks in dark brown because they look good with blue and grey suits and I don't wear tan in the winter - if anyone cares to know my line of thinking

I just bought a pair of the double monk straps but won't get them until December. They told me to go with the size I normally go with so I did and with the 120% return policy, it's worth the risk

matt - I don't own them but based on the reviews and pics, if I was going to get another pair of Gs, these would be them - the pics look great. The trick is getting the right size for the proper post soak fit

Old26 - nice to hear from you. My take on your question based on reading various posts is for cone denim the heavy Americans and Japanese the blue 17 or the other one with 17 in the name would be the ones to look at
