Thanks guys. Winterland, the leather is FQHH Battered Brown and is pretty tough. The leather is on the front only, with the back being a beige wool.

Downtown Browns. I like them more than I expected. Worn with Aero Shackleton vest/waistcoat, Amber Harness IRs and an RRL shirt.
May have pushed me on this one. They have my size still, and I was waiting to see if someone aside from Ken would post up a pics of it. Fantastic. Since I can't find a vest I want, I may go this route. Well done. FYI for others, this one is at current exchange rates, US $442.

A wax coating? Where did you read that the IxI has a wax coating? I was wondering the same... I'm faulty size G hasn't released any waxed denim Its really hard to capture the sheen, but here goes: They havent faded anything at all, what looks like grey areas of fade is in fact sheen that doesnt come out in the photo so I should have posted a movie, but just imagine everthing bright is shining. The coating isnt very thick tho, so it isnt crazy shining, but I think you can clearly see that its not the normal finish we have here.

I can't say DEFINITELY that yours are shiny from starch, but that was the case with mine. They were very shiny and crisp. After a warm soak, problem solved. Now they look like deep indigo denim, and they are fading hellatiously fast

You know you have a problem when you have columns to show your collection By the the way can you showcase the heavy Japans by taking a few shots of them to show the color & overall look of them? The thread looks to be greyish? I might grab them from the BST

@untucked . . . you should try soaking your naturals in black tea, let them dry, then have a go with the vinegroon again. You can make a really strong batch of tea, and wring the crap out of the bags to get as much tannins out as possible. Alternatively, you could make an oak bark tea as well.

The h-bones are really cool. The black is used in a way that it creates an effect. It almost looks like they are a little bit shiny or something, like there is a depth to them, but its the way the black weft is showing up.
In the last pic, look at the pattern on the very right edge. You see that every other weave is black!! Amazing.

When did they do those? Pretty cool looking Thanks DD I backed those in January...the 16th to be specific. I noticed that it looks like the belt loop is pulling on one side on the front left, but it's just the way I'm standing.

really hope the aquas make a comeback. i'm guessing indigoxgreen is up next but there's something about seeing that streaky green weft through the black warp that really made me fall in love with 'em.

The black x aqua remain my favorite gustin jeans, just a great looking denim. At four months of wear they're starting to really loosen up and put on some extra character. I want to wash them to tighten them back up a little bit, but I've promised myself I'll take them six months before I do. I know that at that point the regret of not getting in on the black x brick will set in.

I love the aqua, but its the 12oz that makes me not jump on them. 12oz to me is so thin that it makes wierd creases from a normal wallet in the back (for me), so I have to use the simple wallet in these jeans. Its ok, but I`d rather not have to many of them. I want them but...hmmmmm...
Nice 16ers also dude!!

exo...I cold soaked mine at 3 months just fyi to give you an idea of what to expect. stinky...those pima fires are spectacular! I thought they would be streakier... Cool. I'm hoping the aqua weft really pops once I get to washing them, but at the same time I love how subtle they are and that they aren't blacker than black, so I want them to stay exactly how they are forever and ever. I do need to shrink them up a bit, though, since they were one of my 34s (getting into the 33s comfortably now). The pima fires are far streakier than they look in that image. They're a cool look, and I've gotten compliments on them, they're just a little too "rich middle-easterner vacationing in switzerland" (you'll get it if you've been) for my taste. They're definitely one you have to hem, though, cause it doesn't hold a cuff well and it looks weird if you do the covert "folded up on the inside" cuff. I might feel differently if I had gotten these in slim, but they're straights, and the Gustin slim is where it's at for me. I can do the straights, but I have to be wearing them with big boots cause they swallow any sneakers I wear with them.

Are we not using BBcode here? Not sure why the imgur embeds are failing me.
