Wow that CPO funded. I'm with davelewis that would be a great liner for a chore coat or something. Who ironically backed the CPO?

Okay. I need a favor. I didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I'll put it here. Can anyone with a 33 slim or 33 straight take a low hip measurement for me? Just lay flat, pull tight, and measure side to side at the last button down. Would very much appreciate it. Figured out that its not thigh, but hip that is keeping me from a good G fit. I don't want to order more from them until I have a better idea about whether or not they will work. I Want to compare measurements against my current well fitting denim, and I don't think G will be much help.
I've spent like 8 months trying to nail down a good fit with G, too much work ^_^ Granted I've only had two pairs, but whatever!

I can do it tonight.

Got the same measurement on my Japan Royal Indigo (the real ones not the fake second or third runs). I think I have a few unwashed 33s in the closet, but I don't think I have an unworn pair, I'll take a look later if I remember.

Haha that's awesome! When we came across this jacket lining fabric, we knew it would sew up into the perfect CPO. If you're like us, you've wondered why some fabrics are only used as linings. Some linings are too bold, others are not bold enough. This one hits the sweet spot. Since it's normally intended to be a lining, its 9 oz weight is very wearable and a slightly looser weave will help this wool breath. It's perfect for winter, fall and spring. You might even catch some of us wearing it on a cool summer night.
To get this fabric elsewhere, you'd have to spend $500 or more. By using only the lining, we're able to offer it at a radical value. Consider it our gift to you.

Both fit fine, so I think a 33 slim will work well. My 32 G slims measure like 20.25.

Italy vintage blue is a pretty sweet shade, and I think I'm into that striped work shirt, 10oz khaki stripe twill seems like it'll be solid.

Im thinking the brushed bull trucker will fail, even if its inexpensive. They need to show the f*cker sewn up rather than show me some crappy looking fabric swatch

rust duck canvas chinos look interesting...but note the copy and paste product description;
"....The shade is a rich slate grey that pairs well with lots of colors"

It's a rusty rich slate grey buttery soft twill flannel that you know you're wearing when you wear them kind of thing. They go well with black and white

I've color samples of the duck that Ciano has available, and the Gustin offerings of rust, and slate, look to be identical. The slate/gray, is nice, but the rust is a kind of in your face color that I would NEVER consider, but thats just my old ass talking.

All of the duck offerings from ciano and gustin (and most of the other USA based manufacturers such as lc King) have been identical, as they come from the same mill, whose name escapes me right now.

You should send your work over to Gustin, so they will finally get what people want, instead of the swatch, lol
