Or Westerns...or non-button-down collar shirts...but yes to workshirts.

It'd be really cool to see some of this ultralight denim made into workshirts. #horsebeating Funny, I was thinking the same thing. What a freaking concept, lol Its just par for the movie "clueless in San Fran"

If the cords were the same price as the indigo canvas I would have already backed. I think the indigo canvas could evo nicely and look great new. I love dressing up some nice dark indigo.

Anybody have the japan sea greens? I'm kind of digging them. I don't remember having seen them before, but it's possible they're out there. I have enough niche denim from Gustin that I don't wear enough already, otherwise I might consider them. The indigo x grey at $68, though, that I can get behind. It looks an awful lot like the "super-rare" denim that used to go for twice that. I've been looking for a grey weft since I put a hole in my Italian recycled grey weft.

Bravestar just did a pre order for a lighter weight gray x blue from Cone at about the same pricepoint. When I got my G email today I did a double take, though it's possible that G listed them incorrectly in their description as Japan vs. Cone.

G must have 5 miles of Khaki Selvedge Twill. Interesting that they were once charging $145 for this fabric and now are offering it for $89. Feel for anyone who spent $50 more. I'd be reaching out to G for store credit.

They likely buy up a sh*t ton of fabric, advertise it as R@RE, charge a premium for it and when it doesn't sell they rinse, repeat and mark it down over several runs.

I would totally back that new linen plaid if I thought there was any chance of pattern alignment.

The percentage is equal to the odds of it happening by accident

I instacopped the cheap light blue chambray. 5oz Usa Mill I have a couple of 5 oz chambrays and find them too gauzy. 3 years ago I bought 2 super thin chambrays from JC**W that are super gauzy. I love them for their versatility and function. I'm interested in this fabric specifically from the perspective of functional hot weather wear likely with shorts or light chino's. I keep seeing these expensive workwear chambray's being released, many of them quite nice, but they seem somewhat silly to me in that the fabric seems odd for a work garment. In any case, I expect this shirt at 3.5oz to be downright diaphanous, ditto on this seersucker which I hope does not show my nipples. Hah! But now I am remembering an annoying trait of my G 3.5oz striped chambray is that the buttons on the placet pull and the underlying strip of cloth does not lay flat thus creating a sort of oblong hole between the buttons that shows skin. Damn, I gotta take that shirt to the tailor and see what he can do. May end up taking these as well. Only G shirt I own that does that and am pretty sure its because of the fabric weight....

I have to say, flying buttons aside that the concrete sky stretch and blue moleskin is tempting....

Anyone try out any of the Gustin linen shirt offerings? I am curious about linen, but it seems to appear that there is a wide range of fabrics out there, from Belgium, and Italy, and with more mills getting into the fray.
