I've been using the Gustin backpack as a commuter bag every day since it arrived from the first drop. For reference I commute three hours every day using public transit in Los Angeles.
As a commuter bag, its really only decent. I absolutely love the seat belt shoulder straps, and the Codura has really held up. I really like the materials that bag is made out of. However the internal pocket leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't hold much, and I find that I sometimes have to throw things like chap stick into the bottom of the bag because it is unable to accommodate everything. Also the bottom isn't reinforced, so you really have to put your laptop in the back pocket. Otherwise the bag sags down.
Also if you use the bag for public transit, having to unzip two compartments just to pull out something like a transit card for a transfer gets old really fast - especially if you need to walk and pull it out at the same time. I feel the bag would be improved if it were an external pocket.
I think if Gustin made a few changes this could be an phenomenal bag. However for me, the design leaves a bit to be desired.

I like longsleeved tshirts...alot! I have many many. But these looks so very much budget to me. I got the 3-pack with seagreen, grey and something else and they are good colors and very comfy but totally cheap, like very bad. Look at the weavepattern on the blue one, it is not straight. My grey is even worse then that but this is something you dont even find on the $5 copys and to me is totally unacceptable. I will steer clear of this weave as much as I stay off the patterned shirts, G just cant align, they just say "f!@k it we dont care" so you never know what your gonna get. As an undershirt they are very comfy tho, but WHY BUY from G when these can be had in e v e r y store. Aligned. And not chepo. And as soon as you get them they are in your hand. And they are not ugly red/rust/puke colored. Exhibit A: See the pattern not in water. (lol at face when he is flexing for the shot)

You should pass this on to Gustin dog. This is legit feedback regarding the function of the bag coming from someone who uses the bag everyday. It might fall on deaf ears, who knows, but it's info I would want to know if I were Gustin.

And what is it with the angled pockets? Pockets should always be aligned with the rest of the fabric.

I'd say that the Japanese Multi-Stripe shirt that the guy posted in SF, if you're also a member here I apologize, would have to be a close second to the CPO.

I can see the orange backpack for like riding a bicycle or something so it's bright...maybe Maybe they're targeting urban hunters

Seriously, if anyone here on the forum backed that hideous CPO, please speak up. I'd like to try an comprehend your logic. Or at the very least, how much you were drinking this morning.
G was due. They're probably planning to drop a CPO grab bag and they're like "hey, we can't have all decent options if we do a grab bag. We need to instill some fear/risk into the opportunity."

If I had endless money I would back 50 of that just to imagine their faces when they try and make sense of it themselves. Then I would send one to each and everyone of you, because it probably is a fashion piece u know...and then your GF`s will see it (and all GF`s follow fashion) and they will be like ooooh you got this to wear "for meee" I love you *kiss kiss * and then you HAVE TO WEAR IT

I can't remember the last thing that funded as quickly as that CPO. I had a hard time liking it when it was one colour; now it just looks like the hacked together remnants of some heavily discounted 'End of the Line' beach towels.
Each to their own though!

Update on G's thinking: it's now "holy crap, people are actually beginning to back this fugly thing...we better turn this thing off before people expect us to make this!"

I can see using the wool on that CPO as a liner for a duck jacket, or vest that Ciano would make, but it does not work for me as a shirt.
