Hey guys, does Ciano have a track record of printing off shipping labels but not getting the package out the door right away? Been waiting on a t-shirt for 3 weeks but got "pre-shipment" notification 2 weeks ago. Trying to figure out if this is par for the course or if I need to make a call to see if everything is alright.

Apparently a lot of stuff got waylaid at the post office due to flooding, I'd give them a call to check up on it. I've had them sit, but usually only a couple days. Given the situation I'd check in.

Gabbie told me that the white cotton tee shirts he makes uses organic yarn..but he has to go thur hoops to claim it is organic…so he just says 'F@&K IT" and makes them anyways as regular white tees….HAAAAAA... he also said 99% of all the cotton yarn from TEXAS is organic and has been for the last 50 years..but it is not labeled because you have to go thur GOV"T BS to get it certified and that adds to the cost….HAAAA.IMAGE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers Ciano Not sure if this contradicts the "99% of all cotton yarn from TEXAS is organic", but according to the Texas Observer, "In Texas, 91 percent of cotton is now genetically modified. Nationwide, the percentage is 94." GM cotton is basically the exact opposite of organic and has only really taken hold in the past several years. Perhaps the GM cotton is exported somewhere and virtually only the organic cotton is spun into yarn in Texas? Or maybe Gabbie's statement was meant only in the context of his yarn suppliers? ok,,,Unnamed Mike saw this and i have to comment....we work with Texas farmers every day,,and they buy our product constantly.. so we talk with them and hear the stories on how Monsanto is tring to muscle in on them to buy there seeds...yes cotton seeds... most farmers here in Texas are old school and still use heirloom cotton seeds that have been in their families for years.....and the heirlooms seeds reproduce every year so they do not have to keep buying seeds.. Monsanto created cotton seeds that are a " one shot deal" and do not produce seeds like the Heirloom....and they bully these small farmers to buy from them.... the problem is the cross pollination from corn from Monsanto that are f!@king up the heirloom cotton.... it has been a hugh fight here in Texas with Monsanto..they[Monsanto] are suing about every farmer here in Texas for cross pollination from crap miles aways because some dumbass bought Monsanto seeds...claiming Patent infringement..REALLY!!!!! so we get our info from the "horses mouth"...and cotton is a big deal down here...so i think Gabbie and the local farmers know what they are talking about..and i would quit listening to these liberal web sites...because these old farmers tell me a different story and Monsanto is not a well liked company down here in Texas with all the GM shit! they try to push on these farmers down here.... FUNNY STORY. i had one customer who sent it a pair of jeans in that had burn marks on the jeans he bought from us..we had to replace the whole back leg panel right side....Mike asked him ''What the hell happened"..he said Monsanto tried to serve him on his farm and he shot up his truck [ trespassing ]and it caught on fire..well as any good Texan , tried to put the fire out ..and did, even thou they are the "scumbag liberals" [ not my words, just repeating what they said to me] ,,, so they ran [ the process server for Monsanto] , 5 miles to the next town....Sheriff came out and asked "what happen?" they just said "Monsanto"....and the Sheriff said...have a good day boy's!!!!!

I'm not sure how it is in Texas, but up here "those damn liberals" are the ones fighting against Monsanto and their propaganda, while "conservatives" repeat that there's no way to meet food demand without genetically modified non-reproducing bug killer plants and complain about tree-hugging hippies. I'd probably just recommend keeping politics out of the story, though.

Got my two Ciano tees today. They look great. Construction is great. Measurements are perfectly on spec. Pretty amazing tee for $18. Pretty awesome to have a lightweight tube tee option. It seems like the other tube tee offerings are on the heavier side (Mister Freedom, Left Field). I like the heavyweight tee too but the variety is nice. Excited to see what other tee options Ciano offers...

This is a classic issue of populism verses chemical companies, corrupt politicians, and corporate media. Also, I would hesitate to conflate either party label with either liberal or conservative values. There's a distinct lack of either in both, just eyes for $$.

I look at it more as a Cotton Thing. To much of any one thing (Monsanto Cotton seed) doesn't seem like it would be smart. It's all Well 'n Good untill nature figures out how to make a Blight on Round Up. Or a Co. Owned Patented Salmon get free and infects the entire ocean. Now the Co owns all the Salmon. Balence and reasonableness is being lost.

I'm okay if the cotton glows in the dark and sprouts a head and tries to eat my shoulder. Still seems better than if it was made in China by kids, shipped across an ocean around some fake islands a bunch of assholes made and then trucked to me in a big, diesel truck. Pick your fights. I'm okay with some pesticides more than I am a country run by dicks. Wait, that could happen here too...

Or someone needs to switch deodorants.

Gustin has oil washed. Seems easy to add a San Onofre wash option.

Before and after a wash/hot dry...really happy with the construction and softness, these are very nice quality. Got some significant shrink out of the shirts, just a smidge bigger than Ciano's "after wash" size chart so I'm glad I chose my size based on that. Probably will shrink up some more with the next few washes and that'll really get the fit to where I want it. Not quite opaque though, you can just make out my chest tattoo in pic #2.

So, about those indigo t's, how's that coming? was thinking the same thing I talked to Ciano a few weeks ago when he called me about my repairs. He said the Texas cotton turned out really streaky when they tried dying it. (Almost a tie dyed look.) The tri-blend sample they tried turned out great but is not Texas made. So his weaver was planning to go back and see what he could come up with.

so we started a tee shirt program. so i have already seen some issues [ board comments] with the tee shirt because of the embroidery..well i will get to that in a minute!!!!! Well ever since American Apparel filed for bankruptcy..MADE IN USA tee shirts have been a far site to find in volume...lucky for us we found a small vendor here in Houston that is making tee shirts...Gabbie's business is thru the roof since AP filled..funny thing is he called us because he liked what we are doing after he ordered a pair of denim from us back in Dec...so he called us and asked if we can sell Texas tee shirts... i did a double take and did ask him..what do you mean Texas tee shirts? ..he said Texas Made... Texas cotton..all TEXAS...well you know what i said....HAAAA He has been to our small shop and could not believe that we had all the old "BLACK HEAD" sewing machine..and that we made his pair with the old ass machines....when he did he understood why our jeans are special and the life guarantee on each jean....HAAAAA he was very excited because he wants to make old school tees shirt and he said we inspirited him to bring back the old JAMES DEAN TEE Shirt he has been wanting to make...but could not find anyone who would understand his vision until he meet us..HAAAAA...so stay tuned!!!!!!!!! GABBIE!!!!!haaaaaaaa.. well back to the tee..so this is a 4.4 tubular knit tee..Texas Made, Texas cotton..and it is the similar fit as an American Apparel tee since that is what Gabbie's bulk orders has been from his other customers... as for the embroidery..well we tried to make our tee a little special from everyone else"s tee...but if you don"t want the embroidery you know you can always request it in the "SPECIAL NOTE" section on the order form [NO EMBRIODERY]..and we usually 99% OF the time give you want you want... but the price is going to be the same..the cost is in the tee not the embroidery..i see RL sells a embroidery tee for 45-55USD... ?? and yes i know ours is 4.4oz..and that is the heaviest we are going to make for now.... if you want heavier? ?...well it is all made in Mexico and South America..regardless what the other brands say...GABBIE KNOWS!!!! and the dirt he has been telling me about other brands miss labeling where the tee was actual made OR where the cotton is really from.....HAAAAA...well.....fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.!!!! order form link www.cianofarmer.com/Store/4.4ozBlkTee.htmlwww.cianofarmer.com/Store/4.4ozGryTee.htmlwww.cianofarmer.com/Store/4.4ozWhtTee.htmland YES..the turn is around one week for the time you order to shipping...for now.....we ..or Gabbie is making them and stocking them on the base colors..remember we have to embroidery them [ that is if you want the embroidery ] hand stamp the size in the tees since the tees do not come with labels.. Cheers Ciano
this is what the tees will be stamped with when we ship them... Ciano, I want to purchase some shirts right now but I have a few questions about your measurements. I am looking up to see where you measure your chest from? I don't want to buy a shirt that Ill be unhappy with. Reason why I ask but I really want that tri-blend

turey22 The shirts are tubular knit so the width measurements should be the same regardless of where the measurements are taken.

Just got mine in about a week. Good news on the CF front for a change. Im eternally between a large and XL. Usually need 19 inch shoulder of an XL but length and sleeve of. Large
In any event the large fits well before a wash. Impressed with the comfort level and workmanship. Real real nice to have a lightweight option
I think I'll wash and dry one before I commit to the other..maybe have to back for an XL
Nice stUFF FROM CF
now if only the denim orders were this fast lol

Recieved 2 Olive T's. Fit works for me nicely (sleeves are 1/2" to long, no biggy, I'll roll them one cuff). Cotton is soft. Weight is nice, not heavy but not all lite and saggy. Put one in for a warm wash and hot dry. So I'll measure up the difference of the two.
