As I went to get dressed tonight, I thought it would be cool for everyone to post up their "go to" wardrobe items. I'm not necessarily saying your FAVORITE items, but the one's that definitely get the most play. Mine is as follows:  IH-714 (Brown) Gustin Natty Veg Tanned Heavyweight roller belt Sugar Cane Beach Cloth vest IHSH-1600 Saddleback tablet bag (Tobacco) Sister Clip necklace Seagull Cuff bracelet Token bracelet Maranez Talay* Clark's Desert Trek (beeswax) Mister Freedom Campus Jacket (Natural)** *My only watch, so it wins by default... Not to mention, it matches my apparent love for the color brown **I didn't include a jacket pic, because I couldn't fit one neatly in the shot (A few of the pieces are very new to my wardrobe, but obviously, at least to me, they are definitely going to be grabbed first.) ----- So, the reason I stated "go to" pieces instead of "favorites", because a few of my favorites don't actually make the "frequent wear" list, such as my IHV-02DD, MF Caban Peacoat, Role Club's. Those pieces are BEAUTIFUL, but just a little harder to wear so often |

I'd have to think about it.
But the biggest GOTO items off the top of my head would be my Whites in the avatar picture and the Moss Mechanics from TS which has become a very well worn piece.

Really cool thread. As usual its wierd lighning so Im not actually as crazy as these colors look. I also like earth tones best but rarely find anything I like. So, my post wasn't intended as an outfit lineup, but I like it as well! Yeah, it just so happens that all of my go-to items happen to fit in to a fairly decent outfit, lol

I think that we all have goto items to wear a complete outfit. But i also think people can post as few or as many itrms they want.

After giving it some thought, I don't think I have GoTo items. I seem to assign each piece to a spacific Job or Day.
For example I have my Nite work jeans (J21's), Day work (Antique), Lazy Weekday (Ok's), Lazy Weekend (Loomies), Weekend work (Zims), Crappy pair (American Heavy), with RailCars/CF wabash/HBones worn when I feel like changing it up.

I think I'm like you digdug, my ts cone mills are my daily work beaters, my Indigogene 18oz are for cold days, uniqlo selvedge for alternate work jeans. I usually wear Costco flannels at work since its cheap and fits me well and I dont feel bad if I get acid holes or rips. Weekend Shirts are my ts workshirt/chambrays or my Indigogene workshirt/chambrays.

DigDug and drewcandraw makes sense. I guess I have "go to" items because I made one big all-purpose wardrobe. I don't have any differentiation between work pants/casual pants/night out pants... Same for shirts, etc. I do have a "I want to look more fancy" section of my wardrobe, but that's for FANCY date night, which only comes up every other week. Aside from that part of the closet, EVERYTHING ELSE is fair game on any given day at any given time.

@untucked I just can't justify beating up all my jeans with holes/acid stains as it is the worse thing for fibers. But I guess you can say my go to jeans are my TS since I have been wearing them 90% of the time since Aug 2015 (3-4 days out of 7). Don't really have a go to shirt or shoes as I have too many to pick from and I only wash laundry every 3-4 weeks since I have that much available to me.

Any updates, or changes in style/habit?
I'll list pieces by name, and leave off the pictures (I'm doing this to pass time at work... Monday's SUCK)
Pants: IH-816 (brown), IH-707
Jeans: Sugar Cane (I can't recall the model number)
Shirts: IHSH-13 (black and indigo), IHSH-134 (olive), Gustin IxI workshirt, and the IHSH-123 has been swapped for my indigo dipped IHSH-58
Belt: Gistin Heavyweight natty veg tanned roller belt
Boots: Mister Freedom Trooper Boots, and Role Club M-42 Service Shoes
Jacket: IH-2526J (Duck Trucker)
Accessories: Same watch and bracelets as before

All in all, my "go-to" pieces have pretty much stayed the same. But, I have changed a lot of HOW I wear things now... Like, I like to tuck in my shirts, probably 50% of the time now, lol
